This is once again a skill-level based issue. for String instruments, we commonly have younger people rent instruments that they can then swap out for larger sizes, should they grow. Older and more experiences players tend to purchase instruments. For wind instruments, there is no sizing separation based on age or size, as they are one-size-fits-all. Due to this, we usually recommend purchasing the instrument if they are going to continue playing it in the future.
